We had an intro class for our Multi-media development yesterday and it feels good to be getting back and learning something new. I’m excited to learn more even from a home environment.
I was trying to think what would be an easy enough task for me to do. I'm still not the biggest fan of twitter but my housemates live on it. Last week for game ideas I realised some of the brainstorm ideas were a little harder than what i'm equipped for yet. Such as : -Building houses like in the Sim's(personally one fo my favourite parts) -Puzzle Games -An interactive game where you kill germs After doing more research into these areas I found some really good and easy to understand tutorials on youtube for puzzle game development on unity. Using photos and splitting them in order to rearrange them the correct way. I was hoping to find something along these lines as I feel puzzle games are really therapeutic. When considering ideas for this game I looked up youtube videos on similar tutorials done in this certain area. Although some photos used were more for children I feel this is still a game that can be used for all ages as it uses is for more a therapeutic and a use of distracting during the times we are in now. This week we were meant to read two of our peers work and give back some critical feedback. While also adding our own work into the doc shaun has open for all of us. I have been terrible with letting people read my work. I have asked one or two people in my course to read mine and give me feedback. I had forgotten to ask Shaun to add me to the list. I know feedback is important because what you read and someone else reads you have two different views and opinions. I will be adding my work to the doc tonight once I get in contact with shaun.
