We had an intro class for our Multi-media development yesterday and it feels good to be getting back and learning something new. I’m excited to learn more even from a home environment.
I was trying to think what would be an easy enough task for me to do. I'm still not the biggest fan of twitter but my housemates live on it. So I thought why not make a Twitter List with them and we can use it to share memes and other funny things on twitter. (Screenshot from my twitter) Thanks for Reading!
Last week for game ideas I realised some of the brainstorm ideas were a little harder than what i'm equipped for yet. Such as : -Building houses like in the Sim's(personally one fo my favourite parts) -Puzzle Games -An interactive game where you kill germs After doing more research into these areas I found some really good and easy to understand tutorials on youtube for puzzle game development on unity. When considering the movement for the game I want to keep it simple but not too simple that...
This game has been a great achievement and also the greatest pain. I honestly think I would of been extremely lost without the youtube videos that I found to help me and also the unity tutorials. I went back over the tutorials and honestly gave up for a good two days. I think I spent 2 hours trying to figure out different ways to rectify it. Turns out it was a step I completely missed. Shows you that it's a good idea to take a short break from things and come back it gives you some perspective. I can imaging that gaming developers also have to do similar things. I can't imaging they get everything right the first time round. Obviously that's why it can take so long for games to come out. It has definitely been nice to see what it would be like. I remember there was an evening I had a nap and was lite...
